  • Develop input into the board’s business planning process, including strategic options for the organisation and key initiatives for the next financial year

Workshop details

Workshops one – Facilitate a one day staff workshop

  • Presentation slides on the key internal and external forces at work for the organisation

Workshop agenda items

  • Present the forces at work and discuss the need for change
  • Identify our strategic options based on these forces at work
  • Principles of organisation – understand how we will work together as we grow
  • Develop priority initiatives for input into the board’s business planning process
  • Understand barriers to implementing priority initiatives and discuss how to overcome these barriers
  • Confirm immediate next steps, including timing and accountabilities

Outcomes of the workshop

In one day the client developed:

  • Identified internal and external challenges and opportunities for the organisation over the next five years
  • Understanding of strategic options and how the organisation’s business model will need to adapt to meet future challenges
  • Prioritised list of key initiatives to be used as input into the board’s business planning process
  • Understanding of the likely challenges in implementation and advance thinking on how to overcome these barriers

On our post-engagement survey the client rated our facilitation of this project as highly satisfactory (5 out of 5), with a rating of 10 out of 10 for how likely they are to recommend our firm to a friend or colleague (on a scale where 0 is not very likely and 10 is very likely)
